2011 Ford Escape Hybrid Overview

2011 Ford Escape Hybrid Overview

The 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid is the latest edition of the vehicle which has set the bar for the small SUV hybrid segment for the past several years.  Competing against vehicles like the Toyota Highlander Hybrid, the 2011 Escape Hybrid more than holds its own.

The front-wheel drive version achieves fuel economy of 34 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, while the 4WD version dips slightly to 30/27 mpg in the city/highway respectively.  According to EPA fuel economy estimates, the Escape Hybrid is the most fuel-efficient SUV on the planet.  16-inch aluminum wheels come standard along with a cap-less fueling system.

The 2011 Escape Hybrid comes with seating for five, and 60/40 split rear seats that fold down to increase cargo room.  Standard features abound on the interior, including dual-zone climate control, leather wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming mirror, audio input jack, eco-friendly seats, and a six-way power driver’s seat.  Safety is another area in which the Escape Hybrid excels.  Non-hybrid performance, combined with hybrid fuel efficiency and range.  See the paradox for yourself with the new 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid.
